BUCK BRASWELL, DIRECTOR WITH THE WILLACY SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, congratulates George Reoh (Left), and Victoria Rodriguez (Right) of San Perlita ISD for placing 1st and 2nd respectively in the Willacy SWCD Conservation Essay Contest High School Division. George received a 1st place ribbon and a $75 check. Victoria received a 2nd place ribbon and a $50 check. Their teacher, whose class participated with the contest, is Ms. Denise Martinez. George’s essay competed in Area 3 and placed 2nd. He will be presented with a plaque at the Area 3 Awards Banquet in Refugio in May.
